Poem – I’m Curious

Poem – I’m Curious

I’m Curious as to why the wind blows,
Or how often the rooster crows
In the morning before dawn.

There are many places I’d like to go,
And many things I’ll never know
About this strange world in which we live.

Yet, I often find myself believing
That things are not quite as deceiving
As one might suppose.

And that, to me, the most intriguing of all
Is the simple way we fall
Deep into a thing called love.
